PANDEMIC WILL BADLY HIT PAKISTAN, UN

The UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has sectioned Pakistan among the nations which would be the hardest-hit by the coronavirus, requesting a pile of measures for their help.

UNCTAD has said in another report that the creating nations — which as per an UN body’s count number 170 — would require a $2.5 trillion help bundle this year to confront the monetary emergency brought about by the pandemic. These economies will take “colossal hit” from high capital surges, lost fare income because of falling ware costs and money devaluation, with a general effect likely more awful than the 2008 emergency, the report said.
